FACULTY POSITIONS
　

The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, invites applications for 1 to 2 faculty positions to start in August 2007. Target areas are System-on-Chip Design (digital IC design, CAD, and hardware/software co-design, etc.) and Medical Informatics. Consideration will also be given to applications from outstanding candidates in other areas of computer science and engineering.

NCKU is among the top 4 research-oriented universities in Taiwan. Based on National University Promoting Program, NCKU receives special research funds annually to recruit excellent faculties and set up top leading research labs.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Informatics or other related fields. To apply, please send
1. curriculum vita with the publication list,
2. graduate transcripts (for fresh Ph.D. only),
3. copies of 3 most representative publications,
4. at least 2 recommendation letters,
5. (for applicants in medical informatics) a syllabus of the course Introduction to Medical Informatics, and
